Staff at Carlsbad Animal Hospital

Hospital administrator Molly Wescoat joined the Carlsbad Animal Hospital Staff in 2004. A native of Maine, Molly has more than 14 years experience in the animal care field. She attended the University of Maine at Presque Isle and majored in Fine Arts and Biology. Molly enjoys working with clients at the hospital and feels rewarded when she helps clients and their pets. Her animal companions include two cats and a Scottish terrier. When she’s not at the hospital, Molly can be found cooking and entertaining for friends, enjoying nature and exploring environmental issues.

A native of Los Angeles, part-time receptionist Gordon T. Menzies joined the Carlsbad Animal Hospital staff in 2005. He is proud to work with the professional, caring staff at the hospital. Gordon attended San Francisco State University and majored in Psychology. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in 1987. Gordon's animal companions include cats Rufus and Glinda, a dog named Veronica and a number of tropical fish. His hobbies include gardening, baking, bowling and body surfing.

Karrie is an accomplished equestrian and rides horses at Hunter/Jumpers in Palos Verdes and the Valley Center at A&B Penning Ranch. She also enjoys the company of three dogs—Jack, Dalilah and Lady—a cat named Kitty-Kitty and a rat. Outside the hospital, Karrie can be found hanging out at the beach with friends, spending time with her family, horseback riding and taking her dirt bike out for a spin.

Administrative assistant Jennifer Beyer joined the Carlsbad Animal Hospital staff in March 2008. She loves working with people and animals and enjoys the hospital's friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. She enjoys the companionship of her two dogs, a pug named Maggie and a French Bulldog named Winnie. Jennifer is a member of some local animal groups and enjoys volunteering for local animal shelters. Her hobbies include going to the movies, cooking and hanging out with friends. She also likes playing in the hospital's softball league.

A receptionist at Carlsbad Animal Hospital since 2007, Cyndi Loeffler loves working with the clients and patients at the hospital and considers everyone at the hospital to be her second family. Outside of work, most of Cyndi's spare time is spent with her son Aiden, and they enjoy spending time outside and visiting the San Diego Zoo and Disneyland. She also enjoys baking and watching baseball and football. Cyndi enjoys the companionship of her three dogs, Sadie, Saria and Roxy.

A receptionist at Carlsbad Animal Hospital from 1999 to 2005, Laura F. returned to the hospital in January 2008. She has many years experience working with pets and clients and previously ran her own pet sitting service. Before joining the staff, Laura was a client at the hospital and is proud to work with the friendly, knowledgeable and caring staff. Laura shares her home with her dog, Rudy, who she adopted through the Second Chance Program at the Rancho Costal Humane Society. Her two passions are teaching and animals, and Laura hopes to complete her Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential in order to become a teacher.

Receptionist Tania Belmonte has helped clients at Carlsbad Animal Hospital since June 2008. She is proud of the high quality care offered at the hospital. Tania's hobbies include going to the gym and training in Brazilian jujitsu. She especially enjoys spending time with her family and friends and going to the beach with her dogs, Duchess, Gixer and Sachi. She is also a member of the Frenchie Club of North Country.

Lindsay Hopkins joined the Carlsbad Animal Hospital staff as a receptionist in October 2008. She finds working with pets to be very rewarding and enjoys being part of the caring staff. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, watching movies, reading, going to art galleries, trying new food and spending time with her friends.

A receptionist at Carlsbad Animal Hospital since October 2008, Lindsay MacPhee loves working with animals and is proud to be part of the friendly, caring staff. She attends California State University - San Marcos and is studying Human Development. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to the beach and playing with her dogs, Penny, Gracie and Wee.
